THE PROCESS.

All of our artisans are Guatemalan, and reside in various locations throughout the country - from the mountains of Poaquil to the sandy shores of Lake Atitlan.

Each of our design processes  begins with working with the artisans to bring our vision and sketches to life.

All of our güipil (the fabric) is handmade to make the beautiful designs and textures you'll see on the outside of your bags. Most of them are made on a hand-woven loom in Poaquil.

The güipil is then sent off to Panajachel, where a sewing machine is used to connect the leather to the fabric.

​

And voilá! Your product is made and (almost) ready to be in your hands. It has to be shipped to the USA first!
